Rules to Conduct Job Fair in NIT, Kolhapur

Non-Discrimination: Employers must adhere to non-discrimination policies and provide equal opportunities to all students regardless of race, gender, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
Information Transparency: Employers must accurately represent the job or internship opportunities they are offering and provide clear information about job requirements, duties, compensation, and application procedures.
Professional Conduct: Employers and their representatives must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times during the event.
Respect for Students: Employers should respect students’ time and interests by engaging in meaningful conversations and providing helpful guidance and information.
Privacy and Confidentiality: Employers should respect students’ privacy and confidentiality by handling personal information and resumes with care and only using them for recruitment purposes.
Distribution of Materials: Employers are allowed to distribute informational materials, brochures, and business cards, but they must do so in a respectful and non-intrusive manner.
Recruitment Practices: Employers should follow fair and ethical recruitment practices, including conducting interviews in designated areas and providing timely feedback to candidates.
No Solicitation: Solicitation of products or services unrelated to job or internship opportunities is strictly prohibited.
Adherence to College Policies: Employers must adhere to all college policies and guidelines, including those related to campus events and facilities usage.
Clean-up: Employers are responsible for cleaning up their booth area and disposing of any waste or materials properly at the end of the event.
Feedback and Evaluation: Employers may be asked to provide feedback or participate in post-event evaluations to help improve future job campus events.
Compliance: Failure to comply with any of the rules and guidelines may result in the removal of the employer from the event and may affect future participation opportunities.
