About Prof. Deepak P. Jagtap:
Prof. D. P. Jagtap serves as the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the New Institute of Technology (NIT), Kolhapur. Under his leadership, the department offers a comprehensive 4-year B.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering, approved by AICTE, DTE, and affiliated with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU). His academic and research interests encompass Embedded Systems, Image Processing, and Deep Learning. Under his leadership, the department emphasizes research and innovation, encouraging both faculty and students to engage in cutting-edge research, explore new frontiers of knowledge, and contribute to technological advancements. The department provides ample support and resources for research projects, collaborations, and participation in Paper Presentations and Quiz competition.
